As you can read, the next page is ready! I’m sorry for the delay, it’s been a crazy week for me, but I was able to find the muse to get it done. If you follow my twitter, you know that I had a bot hack my account and basically PM everyone in my followers list, so that was a pain, and so forth.
I know you all didn’t come here for my problems, you all want the next page, or at least I think you do, so I’m going to give you what you want!
I apologize for the delay, I have been quite busy. My summer semester started, and one of my classes is an express class, meaning the assignments come at me twice as fast as my other class, so I have been swamped keeping up with that.
I have been thinking long and hard about my manga style, what I can improve and change to make it better. This has been the main reason why my muse was shut down for so long and why I was in a slump. I’ve been reviewing my technique, and hopefully it will improve in the coming pages.
Other than those two things, I’ve had my hands full with the Yuri.Media site, cracking down on spammers (so many… so many spammers). I’ve had to edit the member’s registration multiple times, including now an admin approval (basically me) in order to keep out the spammers (I know what to look for…). The group is still open to anyone who would like to join, and we always support our creators and reviewers!
But you all didn’t come here for that, you came for the page, so here it is!
Alright, Another page is up! I know I was working on it two weeks ago, but I have been very very busy, which I will explain below the picture (just a hint, I will make a post about it when it’s fully ready). I’ve been busy with that project, I wasn’t feeling well for a week, and I had two exams very close to each other. I buckled down today and worked all day (taking a break because my mouse had gone to shit, but I have a new one now, a nice purple one!) to make sure this page was finished, and it is!
Another page here! I’ve been kinda in a weird procrastination time warp this week. I was hoping to draw another page on monday, digital ink this page on Wednesday, and screen tone, bubble and word on Thursday and Friday…
None of that happened…
I instead did not draw the page, I inked on Friday, and if you follow my twitter, know I just finished all the other stuff just now. There is no excuse besides schoolwork and procrastination.
I’m still working on the project I teased at the last time. We’ve had some technical difficulties, but when we are finished with it, I’ll announce it. So without waiting… okay after this read more, the page!
I said I would post three times this week to make up, and I always try to deliver on my promises, this is one of those times! You all know how I do this, I’ll blah blah at the beginning, make you click something (if you’re looking at the home page,) to read more, give the page then some background on the page.
I do have some interesting news. I’m currently working with a group of developers, reviewers and super fans of yuri to create a network of small developers who are working on yuri related projects, be it comics, games, novels, etc. We’re in the early planning stages of development, but hopefully when we get it established, we’ll have nodes on most of the social platforms, including here on wordpress, twitter, facebook and tumbr just to name a few.
Either way, you came here for the page, and I am here to deliver!
Hey, everyone! Sorry for the last few weeks of inactivity, but I have been a bit busy. Last week was the Spring Break for my school, (and I’m sure most of your schools as well), but did I take a break?
No! If you had been following my twitter (listening to me twittering on as such, thanks if you are,) you know that I spent my spring break working on pages for Kokoro No Kinu; That is why I called my spring break my Draw-appaloosa.
During the last week I created 4 new pages from Kokoro No Kinu. As you know, I’m working on Chapter 3 in real time, because I’m caught up at the time with my pages. Because school has kept me really busy (I do this for free at the time, as you all know well, so my main source of income comes first, unfortunately.) So I rarely get a chance to make pages, so I decided the week I was off school, I would use the time constructively, meaning making pages!
I’ve decided to keep you all updated on my pages, and because I’m about 2 posts late, due to my new years resolution to make at the very least 1 post a week. I haven’t made a post in two weeks, so I need to catch up. I decided to give all you a sneak peek into my pages, showing you all the sketches of the up coming pages!
This week will also have a Magicka Mechanica Cultural Study, and by Friday, a finished Page 3 (a preview you will see below) will be posted, catching me up to my post quota!
So, without further ado, and no continue reading button, previews of Kokoro No Kinu Chapter 3, pages 3 through 6!
Alright! After a week of setback, and some fluff ‘n filler, I have chapter 3’s title page! In some ways the chapter title pages are harder than the pages with text and dialogue. I have to think of eye grabbers and I am not the best with color. I usually use pencils to make my art, so most of it is in black and white, so finding colors that work are harder for me than actually drawing the pages sometimes. Either way, I won’t bore you with the details, and I won’t add a continue reading tab, so you all get to enjoy the title page without having to load another page!
BTW, I will be adding these and the other page of Chapter 3 to the Kokoro No Kinu page!
It’s back! After… I’m not going to count months, Kokoro No Kinu is back, as you can very well see! In this chapter Hitomi gets ready to take the college exam, and a dispute breaks out! Sorry it took so long to make, but that last school semester really hit me hard, but I’m back, Chapter 3’s script is done, but I haven’t drawn any pages besides the one below yet, but I am committed to work on it!
So, something a little different, I am going to put my contact information before the page. This is because this is a new chapter, and thus, some of you may not know about my many, many avenues of social medias. These help me because I have the self-confidence of three snails tied together and dipped in soy sauce, and seeing that people actually follow and interact with me boosts my confidence and helps me find the energy to put out content faster!
